In different capacities, she has worked with groups inside organizations and outside to help on questions of negotiation, organizational management, decision-making, planning, sustainability, and natural resource management and community development.
She has worked for the Alberta government in various capacities and then for eight years at the Banff Centre (November 1986 – November 1994) where she directed, designed, developed and delivered executive training programs in Canada and around the world. Programs focused on environmental management, conflict resolution, First Nations governance and sustainable development.
On leaving the Banff Centre she was asked to join the CSE Group in 1995 as a partner. Clients include: the World Business Council on Sustainable Development, Federal government agencies such as the Parks Canada, RCMP, DND, Environment Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs as well as provincial agencies and municipalities including the one she lives in. In addition she has worked with several not for profit organizations to help them build capacity, fund raising and leadership. These include the Calgary Science Centre, the Bow Valley SPCA and the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
She was an associate Faculty member in the Peace and Conflict Program at Royal Roads University for 14 years until 2013.
