Foresight Canada has played a formal advisory role to the following European-based foresight projects:
- 2008-’09, Ruben Nelson was a member of the International Advisory Group to the EC funded Paradiso Project focussed on ITC for a Sustainable Future. A PDF of the Project’s Reference Document is here: PARADIS0_RefDoc_March2009.
- 2012-’14, Ruben Nelson was a member of a six person, International Advisory Sounding Board to the BMFB Foresight Project. BMBF Foresight is a strategic instrument of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). With a time horizon of 15 years, BMBF Foresight casts a long-range look into the future in order to provide guidance for early agenda setting and prioritization in German research and innovation policy.
