The organizations that follow have three characteristics: (1) we know about them, (2) they bear directly on your capacity to develop into a first-rate foresight professional and (3) with the exception of the WFS, we are confident that they are worthwhile. We know of no site that tracks foresight events world-wide. If you know of one, please contact us. Many of the organizations listed below host annual or occasional conferences. Association of Professional Futurists (APF):

Canadian Association of the Club of Rome (CACOR):

Foresight Canada:
Foresight Canada hosts occasional workshops and national conferences. None are planned at this time.
Foresight Synergy Network (FSN):

Institute on Religion in an Age of Science (IRAS):
IRAS has hosted a week-long annual conference on Star Island, New Hampshire, USA for decades. The week offers a rare opportunity for reflection and deep learning. Attendees range from educated lay persons to top-ranked scholars. (Disclosure: Ruben Nelson is a member.) See www.iras.org .
World Futures Society (WFS):
The World Future Society (WFS) has recently been reorganized. It tends to attract lay people with an interest in the future rather than professionals. There is no cost to join their mailing list. https://www.worldfuture.org/ (Disclosure: Ruben is no longer a paying member.)
World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF):
