Ruben Nelson is a visionary, big picture strategic thinker.
At its heart, Ruben is hopeful and transformational. He challenges those with whom he works not only to raise their game, but to learn to see, embrace and cooperate with the long transformation we are in – the transition of our Modern Techno-industrial cultures into new and more promising co-creative ways of living. His vision of an emerging Co-creative civilization offers a basis for the hope that lies the other side of despair.
Ruben has written extensively on a wide range of topics, including civilizational paradigm change, strategic foresight 2.0 as the new cognitive work of leadership, the societal implications of micro-electronic technologies, the emerging information society, 21st Century social policy, and the future of democracy. He has also designed and led new organizations and government programs. Ruben has taught at Queen’s University and the University of Calgary. He is a graduate of Queen’s University and Queen’s Theological College in Kingston, Canada. He has also studied at United Theological College, Bangalore, India and the University of Calgary. Ruben Is a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science and the World Business Academy.
